developed out of the twinning of first with AMHA of Le Havre in February 1986 and then ASMOCO of Aywaille, Liège in October 1986. In 1987 we became associated with RMC of Caen and following our EUROTRACK?88 exhibition, the association was formed. The early years of the eurotrack Association is given in February 1991 and updated in September 2014 edition of the Continental Modeller. Over the years there has been a few changes in the membership of the Association and the current status is given below:

Other clubs and societies have expressed an interest and regular contact occurs between clubs and individuals from several other continental European clubs. The eurotrack Association holds an annual exhibition in one of the member countries. There is currently no show planned in 2022 and the next one planned is in Hungary in 2023. At each association exhibition a large modular layout constructed using sections built to the FFMF (Fédération Française de Modélisme Ferroviaire) standard. The layout is typically 60 to 80 modules long, with standard modules being 122cm / 4ft and in Vienna in October 2011 it was 155m long with trains averaging 7 to 8 actual kilometres per day!
